defenderofmen: (don't touch)
Elena would never describe her relationship with Pulse as normal. He was one of her models and despite seeing him naked on many occasions they’ve never actually had sex. He’d taken her on a few dates and Elena had fun but she was a little worried about getting involved with someone she worked with. That wasn’t the only reason for her resistance. Pulse had an air about him, something that drew her in and she knew if she let herself she’d happily let his touch consume her.

She wasn’t interested in those sorts of connections, the sort of bonds that hurt when you got to close.

That didn’t stop her from going on dates with him or going on another date tonight. He was charming and Elena found it difficult to say no. She had run the night before and for once, the wolf was calm. That was another part of herself that she wasn’t ready for him to know. She never would be.

The doorbell rang and Elena assumed it was Pulse. She was wearing a tight black dress that was a little too short for chaste date and a pair of high black stiletto heels, her blond hair was down but twisted elegantly over her right shoulder, showing off the delicate curve to her neck.
